"To collect photographs

 is to collect a world" -

 

wrote Susan Sontag in her famous essay ''On Photography''.

 

I also collect a world - my world - to be able to live once again moments, places and people I have just seen in the past, but now they are part of my present.

 

Through these windows of the world, I would like to share faces of people, especially children, whom I met in some moments of my travels. I would like to focus principally on their looks, but also on their customs and rituals in order to leave the most authentic testimony of their lives and the cultural diversity that surrounds them. Behind each photograph there is a human story which not only teaches us respect and dignity to the other, but also makes us think and reflect on ourselves.

 

This web page comes out of my passion for travelling, photography, learning foreign languages and getting to know a world of different people and the culture they live every day.
